I have been using the Ultimate since last year and it has been great. Recently I added a spare extra battery and I was able to shoot tethered to my MacBook Pro for over 10 hours with just 2 Omni Batteries and the laptop was 100% charged at the end of the shoot. Amazing! Best to plug in while the laptop is fully charged and just keep it that way. 5 |

I don't like charging my batteries in camera. If you want to carry a spare charged battery with you while shooting with the battery in camera, you have to have a way to charge that spare. The Bescor battery charger does the job. You can be charging a spare while you're out shooting with your camera. 5 |

The Panasonic Lumix does not come with an external charger, so I saw this as a necessity to have a spare battery charged when the dead one is swapped. I do not like plugging my camera into an outlet, I prefer plugging in my battery. 5 |

The M240 is my take-everywhere camera and I like having a charged spare battery with me all the time. The battery life is actually quite good - I can often go a day of heavy shooting using the same battery. But having a spare available to swap in a moments notice is always best practice. The Leica-brand batteries have always served me well. 5 |
