Kensington Power Surge Protector Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The surge protector is very handy and I partiluarly like that the 3 pin plug is not L-shaped. Spacing between ports is enough to toggle wider power cable connectors to make use of each port on the unit. It isn't totally necessay but having an LED would be preferred to indicate power is ON

I really like having 8 outlet and being able to have adequate plugs and the ability to turn the electrical power on and off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belkin 8-outlet Surge Protector with 6 Foot Power Cord with Telephone Connection holds a high capacity of electronics and is perfect for my office at the fire department I work at. I was able to plug in all devices that I need to function - my computer, phone, radio scanner, and printer - with plenty of room to grow. Unlike my former surge protector, this one has jacks for my telephone connection as well. This will help prevent damage to the phone lines in case of power outages or surges. I live in a rural, coastal community in the PNW, and it is not uncommon in the winter to have multiple power outages. I recommend this surge protector by Belkin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belkin surge master surge protector is great! I really like the fact that it has a 12 foot power cord on it. I’ve got plenty of cord length to stretch it to where I need it. I like that it not only has the six outlets that are side-by-side but it also has a separate outlet off by itself that accommodates something bigger like an adapter as opposed to a regular plug. The safety covers are nice because I can close any off that are not in use. The lights near the power switch clearly show that the surge protector is working. The phone and modem jacks being on the end means that they’re not gonna get in the way of the other chords. The plastic bar on it lifts up and down easily to keep those cords down which is a nice little feature. Belkin has done an awesome job putting so much into a surge protector to protect my electronic devices. This one is a must to consider if you’re in the market for a new one. I definitely recommend it.

The power cord is longer than average for a power strip, which is fantastic for utility, and my favorite part is that the cord is flexible so that the cube sits flat on the surface. All-around great office tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE LOVE LOVE this swivel surge protector!! It is PERFECT for my home office which is quite packed with electronics so it works perfectly and the swivel if the BEST part, with its hard right angle plug. The mounting holes are on one side, and don't give us any trouble with the screws you want you mount to. My favorite feature is the power switch next to the cord, which eliminates users kicking the power strip when not it's mounted. Had a good storm come through last week and the power kicked off with the lightening and no issues with the items it was plugged into. Highly recommend!!!

It's hard to review a surge protector without having it go through a surge in a thunderstorm or power outage. However, this APC protector had more joules than a very expensive one that I purchased for my entertainment system 7 years ago and doesn't buzz like the Monster surge protector did, which is why I replaced it. Seems like a goodpurchase. Pleanty of room for many plugs.

We plug all of our electronics into surge protecters this way they dont get destroyed by power outages.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.
