This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

The USB3VDOCK4DP laptop docking station with 4K DisplayPort has a lot of features for such a small device! It comes with a gigabit ethernet port, 4k DisplayPort, USB 3.0 Fast-Charge, 2 - USB USB 3.0, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer) and Kensington lock port. No issues when connecting laptop and I did enjoy how little space was taken. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station is small in size and yet powerful. It comes with a 300W supply so it can power the laptop and provide USB power as well. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports and 1 lightening (USB C) port on the back and 1 usb port and 1 lightening port on the front. It also has 2 Display Port, 1 HDMI Port connectors and an RJ-45 connector on the back. The lightening connector on the back can also be used for a USB C monitor. There are not enough usb 3.0 ports on the back. I'm used to docking stations that connect to the laptop via a connector on the bottom of the laptop. These have more USB ports than this docking station. The double connector used to connect this to my laptop is a little clumsy but the docking station serves it's purpose.

While also supporting Lower resolutions such 1080p (1920x1080). - DisplayPort connections are not supported. - Does not support HDCP, will not playback encrypted or copy-protected content. - Cannot be mixed with non-DisplayLink USB adapters. This docking station is amazing, it has a USB 2.0 , USB 3.0 , a plug for headphones, and a plug for a mic. This is truly amazing, keeps everything in one spot and I don't have cords everywhere .

Easy setup dual-monitors with USB-C port. No docking station needed. It's a great monitor at this price point.

This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.
