Great little radio! Fits in tight spaces and easy to use and set up repeater channels. 5 |

I have two Kenwood mobiles I use on GMRS and love this desk mic. I don't like holding the hand mic so I got this. Very clear modulation and was simple plug and play. Thinking of getting second mic so as not to keep changing mic from radio to radio. 5 |

First off please realize that CB and Ham users are a bit threatened by GMRS. Why? because for Ham users this radio makes it easy to talk to anyone with a no test license. Yes with GMRS you are to have a license even for the the blister pack radio that people get at Wal-mart. Now with a license it last 5 years and covers everyone in the home. Now Midland has broken the ice by releasing the MXT115 and the MXT400 because now it allows anyone to have a high power radio that can connect to greater distances of up 70 miles with a repeater an up to 30 miles barefoot without a repeater. With the MXT115 radio more like 12-15 miles barefoot and 15-40 miles with a repeater. However do not expect these distances with the stock antenna. The release of these 2 new powerful radios finally allows the GMRS signal to be taken seriously and truly have an option for point to point communication. so ditch the blister pack radio garbage and get a real radio. Lastly this radio will still allow communication to those blister pack radios as well. 5 |

Have had the radio's for a few weeks, had trouble programing the units , no repeater rp would come up, could enter tone and other features but would not go to rp no matter what I did , called for tech but folks I got where very nice but couldn't answer the questions. I went to youtube , and found that the repeater function had to be turned on first, once I did that 3 min all programed and fully operational, need to let folks know that this must be done before they do anything else, over all the radio is great, well constructed and audio TX is great and RX is also very good 5 |

These have great battery life and also takes AA batteries. I've used them through a Retevis RT97 GMRS repeater (antenna height at 15 feet due to limitations). Through the repeater, I was able to get about 5.5 miles from elevated rural terrain and a strong, clear copy while driving around this small town. (if you don't know what a repeater is, look it up as this type of radio setup is not the same as a simple direct radio to radio communication). As far as simple direct radio to radio performance, the terrain and buildings greatly affect range. In my small town, I was able to get a clear copy up to 0.6 miles in High Power setting. That's about the average range when using this type of radio within city limits. When I drove up to slightly elevated terrain towards the outer city limits, where little to no obstructions were present, I got about 3 miles with some noise but still readable signal. Overall, a solid little GMRS radio and definitely recommend it if you need a repeater-capable radio that takes AA batteries. 5 |

This radio was easy to install and easy to program the privacy codes into. It reaches the local repeater that is about 15 miles away with the Midland low profile stealth antenna. It was a super good price also. 5 |

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks- 5 |

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit! 5 |

Great way for me to use my Leica R lenses without having to spring for a DMR for my R8. Wonderful pictures on my 5D. 5 |
