Very nice cables. I use it to connect a tube preamp to guitar amplifier and they work great. Love the color!!!

I live in a hilly area where FM is sketchy and only few stations come trough, but AM radio rules. Radio is great, and both AM and FM antennas work well. Interestingly, Yamaha seems to be the only one on the market with FM. On the amplifier side it works with an older JVC tape deck, but if I want to listen to vinyl, an additional preamp is needed on the way to the receiver, receiver's amplifier alone won't work. Once preamp is in place all sounds fine. The Bluetooth is the receive mode to play from the devices. This is not a send mode Bluetooth to Bluetooth speakers, as some users assume.

After almost 30 years my trusty Kenwood amplifier finally gave up. After looking though all of the currently available amplifiers to replace it, this Sony gave me exactly what I was looking for. A phono input so I wouldn't need a separate pre-amp and an output I could connect to my PC. I am once again able to listen to my vintage vinyl and convert them to digital in the process. Love it!

The Pyle preamp worked great. You need to ground the preamp and turntable to the amplifier to prevent a hum. This can be easily done by loosening a screw on the amplifier and attaching a wire to this screw. Then attach this wire along with the ground wire from the turntable to the Pyle preamp ground screw. Then tighten all ground wires to their components.

Works in a variety of configurations with any camera: amplifier and stereo pick up to a camera, preamp for an external Mic, in parallel with the camera (synch to marker). Has a calibrated tone generator. Simply an amazing device for $100.

I connected the preamp between a 55 year old turntable with phono cartridge same age and a 35 year old amplifier with no preamp. It put an old system back in service. The application adjustment knob puts it far above many others on the market today. I wish it had a power on/off switch,

I have a vintage (1978) amplifier whose preamp isn't working. A local repair shop wanted nearly $200 to fix it, provided they could still get parts. I bought the PP999, plugged it into a line-level input and started enjoying my record collection again! It works well and is very cost effective!

From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

I bought this device in order to mix my acoustic guitar preamp, which requires phantom power, and my electric guitar. I can match the respective output levels and process a single signal or pan them stereo and process separately. Works perfectly for my application. Haven’t used the USB interface. Not sure if I ever will. I was also surprised at how heavy it is. Time will tell how robust the components are, but the chassis is very solid and has the feel of piece of pro gear.

Don't be put off by the bargain price, this is a wonderful amp mic, period. The RSM5 is impressive sounding on guitar amps or speaker cabs. In that application, it's better combine the RSM5 w/ another non-ribbon mic, like condenser or dynamic. I get great results combining RSM5 with a ShureSM57. The RSM5 adds a delightfully smooth, warm low end girth & the SM57 adds presence, cut and sparkle. Experiment with positioning the mics on the speaker cone. As with all bargain ribbon mics, be sure to check your RSM5 for loose ribbon tension before keeping it. Google the issue and how to do a test. The tension inside mine was perfect out of the box. The RSM5 takes EQ great, yet doesn't need much to fit into a mix. It's very low noise. I have not yet really tried the RSM5 on other sound sources. Like all passive ribbons, this one needs lots of preamp gain or a mic booster to get a good level with quiet sources. With a loud source like guitar amp, that's not an issue with the RSM5. The preamps built into my Steinberg UR44 interface are more than powerful enough to get great results with Nady RSM5 on amps. I even briefly tried it on my male spoken voice, for which the preamps had to be turned up quite a bit, but I think even that would work without any extra preamp booster. I suspect that on quieter voices, or acoustic guitar from a distance, you'd need a gainier preamp, or FETHEAD or Cloudlifter to get a good level with the RSM5. The RSM5 has presentable build quality, and it sounds much, much better than I imagined, especially at this price point. It's downright unbelievable! I love the tones I am capturing having this mic as part of the mix. I have been playing music seriously for 40 years, and am fanatical about good tone. Nonetheless, given the great results with the RSM5, I could not justify the extra cost of the high end ribbon mics.
