Keyboard Actuation Mechanism

The keys are excellent, the actuation are excellent, and the feel of the keyboard is pretty high quality. This is the step just before customs, I feel. The screen on the unit is great looking and a conversation piece for visitors. Looking forward to the Armoury fleshing out the software for this unit a bit.

Great high intensity light with firm actuation.

I've been using it for the last year, over 20,000 actuation's and it is still running like new.

Unusually for these devices this aluminum drive is beautiful to touch and use. The slide actuation acts like a self-closing cabinet drawer, very elegant high quality compared to any plastic unit, photos do not do it justice. Beautiful thing. Performance is superb, blinding fast. Well worth the extra cost.

I may have gotten a body that was simply a return. The shutter actuation count was 3 (three), when I checked. My understanding is that Nikon does not reset the counter. Any way, it was a good price when I bought. Of course four months later Nikon dropped the price of new by $400, but that's the way things go.

These add just the right amount of height and size to improve shutter actuation on my Fuji cameras. And they seem to stay on better.

We bought this product to scan huge collection of family photos and snapshots. The product works well with either the software actuation or the auto scan button actuation. Although we had intended to use the product for photos and snapshots, it produces nice pdf files also.

I really like this mechanism a lot more than others I've tried!
