Have a workstation & gaming pc. Needed something like this to switch between them with my keyboard & mouse, works perfectly. Even have extra ports if needed.

I had to call IOgear's C.S. to set up my gaming keyboard and mouse. The first guy didn't know what I was talking about. Called back and this guy stepped me through the process and waited for me to make sure all was OK.

I really like the keyboard and the mouse

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

It's a very capable mouse. Roll it on my leg or couch as I work anywhere. Saves my single USB A port for other things since I bluetooth, but can lend it to my wife since her laptop has lots of USB A ports. Scrolling not very fine. Haven't used other mouse buttons for other computer key functions yet.

I originally read about this keyboard in an article and went to B&H as my most trusted source for electronics. It was available and at one of the better prices I could find. Set up was quick, after following the instructions to charge it for 5 hours (a once a YEAR process) I haven't found a flaw yet. It's sturdy, and being able to use it on all my couch potato gadgets is very handy. It's the best keyboard I've EVER used, not just used lately. My ONLY complaint is not the fault of the keyboard, it's bluetooth in general.. I wish it would work from 10-12 feet away so I could run my Chromecast from the couch. lol
