This is the class PDF program in the industry. A bargain for students.

The Apple Wireless Keyboard is a convenient way of saving the use my keyboard on my Mac Book pro. I also love the grey steel color because it matches my computer. It truly makes a fashion statement. I bought the keyboard to save the use of my computer keyboard.

Reviewing Plustek in general. I own and use the OpticBook A300 Plus (scans up to 12x17, drivers avail for Windows only ATM) and uniquely to Plustek, they scan extremely close to the edge (a few mm), so they are especially suited to book scanning. Other book scanning options such as a scanner/camera mounted on a stand taking photos of an open book, and then re-straightening the images in software look like a bogus approach if you want quality. Stick to Plustek or similar book-specific flatbed scanners. The software Plustek provides is basic. I recommend using 3rd party software (extra cost, sure) - for ex. VueScan (Windows or Mac) supports most/all of the Plustek scanners (after you install Plustek's own drivers) for scanning. And once a book is scanned to images, use something like ABBYY FineReader PDF for OCR/conversion to PDF, Word docx and other formats. You can even make your own ePub's using a process such as VueScan (Mac or Windows) - FineReader PDF OCR (Mac or Windows) - Export to docx - Import docx to Vellum (Mac only) - lots of manual tweaking - Export to ePub.

I have used this scanner, and its nearly identical predecessor DR-4010C for nearly 20 years. It is heavy duty and reliable, with no issues or problems. After closing my law office, I scanned and converted several hundred boxes of client files to PDF computer files, before shredding all the paper. This scanner easily processed everything, and more, and continues to work well. I quickly scan whole books to PDF computer files, before converting them to text with OCR software, so the computer can read them using text-to-speech software. It just keeps on working as it should. This is the singularly best piece of office equipment I ever purchased. There is good reason Canon still makes this model with no apparent changes. You bet, I would buy it again. Sidebar Observation - I enjoy using this scanner with Canon's new I.R.I.S. PDF and OCR program, which works well and is well worth its comparatively low price. I have used most of the other major OCR and PDF programs, including, but not limited to, PaperPort, OmniPage, TextBridge, ABBYY OCR, Foxit PDF, Adobe Acrobat, Nitro PDF, and several others programs, and Canon's I.R.I.S. application is my current favorite. When darkroom class ends and prints are still damp this book is a godsend. The prints finish drying perfectly and stay flat on the trip home.

The quality appears to be first class, and the options and uses make this a must have in my book. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Folds down to about 10-12 inches, flat, fits perfectly in my camera bag.

As a beginner photographer, I took at class and read the recommended book. Everything I was told and read indicated that for tack sharp photos, I would need a cable release. This fit the bill, was low cost, and will work just fine until I have more experience and am ready to make a larger financial investment in equipment.

World class as a book stand!  Multiple positions & foldable. Comes with storage / travel zippered pouch. My friends are jealous of this find. I told them I got it at B&H!

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.
