Keyboard Computer Daw Connection

I use this product to connect my keyboard with my computer. It runs windows 7 64 bit and it recognized the connection instantly. You don't need to install anything. The cord is very long which is great. It also is very durable.

I have many synthesizers that need to be plugged into my computer (DAW, Upgrades, etc.). This does the trick in one neat package!

Clean connection every time. Currently is part of the XLR backbone hooking booth to DAW mixer in den. Has been fiddled and reconnected a few times, stepped on. No problems, clean sound!

Works great, just as described from the manufacturer. I got this to simplify my live keyboard rig. I am able to connect two midi keyboards as inputs to my DAW from one cable. I didn't need midi out as I trigger VST synths from my laptop DAW but it's nice to know I can use either as an in or out and it senses and configures itself auto-magically. I liked it so much I ordered another one.

Great keyboard and was a great deal with the V Collection 6, some confusion in the DAW control but totally manageable

Perfect for working with a DAW on my workstation. One output to my headphones, another to monitors. Gives me more gain than the computer can. What can I say...works perfectly for what I do! Thanks ART!

This thing is well worth the price, as we use a separate computer to mix our broadcast audio through a DAW. This thing allows us to have that computer in our broadcast studio with no loss of audio quality! Much better than running 100ft of USB, if it would even send anything at that range.

Adding this to my DAW has made a huge difference. If you need a simple, easy way to improve your playback from any computer, there is no need to spend big bucks. This device fills that need. I finally can listen to my tracks as they were recorded. No added color, no noise, just clean powerful sound. I'm using 250 ohm reference quality headphones and I get plenty of volume.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.
