Keyboard Switch Sounds

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

This keyboard has great sounds and it very good quality. For the value can’t beat it.

This keyboard is good as a beginner keyboard. Sounds great except perhaps for the highest notes.

I love this keyboard, bought both colors. The only thing I didn't like where the switches but I changed them and now this keyboard sounds so thocky!

i use this during recordingfor under $ I could not believe the quality of this thing. The mono switch sounds horrible, volume knob is very useful. Soundwise, it sounds ok, nothing to write about. It seems to block a lot of mids and highs, but does very little with the lows, such as kicks and bass amp.great cans to protect your hearing !

The build quality on it is so nice, definitely flips the switch on any room decor. Sounds great though it’s bass heavy. I found turning it all the way down solves it. The app works really well and easy to update. It actively finds the Bluetooth once paired unless it goes to sleep. You can wake it up with the app, which is nice if it’s across the room. I’ve been using it to play drum tracks over my guitar amp. It’s definitely loud enough and sounds great. Very glad I purchased it!
