Keystone Portable Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

I have been using Furman power conditioners for many years, mainly to provide a portable power strip with reasonably clean power. Providing adjustable light to rack components in often dim stage conditions is more than welcome too. I use the Furman with short ANSI power cables (12") to minimize the clutter in the backside of the rack. At 12" in depth, the backside of the Furman is short enough to clear the rear cover, yet long enough to reach without skinning my knuckles. Kudos! Furman. How about a 1-space Furman UPS?

One of the best budget power conditioners you can buy

I purchased this as a replacement for my Crumpler Keystone backpack. Even though the Crumpler was physically a much larger bag, the Domke actually holds far more gear. At the moment it easily holds: Nikon D200 with MB-D200 grip and Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 Nikkor 70-210 f4 Nikkor 50mm f1.4 Lensbaby Original Leica D-Lux 2 Nikon SB-600 Elinchrome Radio trigger set My lightmeter As well as various cables, and about a half dozen memory cards... My only complaint is that there could be a little bit more padding in the bottom...

These are very well made connectors. There is also a keystone version which is useful for solid wire cat cables, which is also well made.

Didn't need all eight keystone holes on the plate I bought with my my order, so this keystone was exactly what I was looking for. The color matches exactly and the keystone fits the plate exactly as well.

It's plenty sturdy, the air cushioning is nice. It is very portable, perfect for on location shoots.

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!
