[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, we got this SSD for our gaming PC but decided to try it in our video game console as well. The results have impressed us so much that we’re now planning to buy another 990 PRO to get the best possible experience from both devices. It was very easy to install the SSD, only a matter of minutes from start to finish. After we powered everything back up, the system immediately recognized the new drive. The console's speed test showed the drive running at 6561MB/s, which is more than 1000MB/s faster than the suggested minimum. The 990 PRO works perfectly inside our console, and the massive 2TB capacity lets us keep all our games at the ready, with room to spare. Games load up almost immediately, even a little quicker than when they’re installed on the system’s internal drive. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with the 990 PRO in our video game console. This is the SSD to get for all your gaming storage needs.

What a great gpu and looks great in my new rig and way better than playing on console

My son and I have enjoyed the new Oculus Quest 2 very much. This is no longer 'playing' a video game, but rather being part of the game.

I use this Mac Pro as a home computer but do some video editing and encoding. I replaced a very fast G5 but this Mac Pro's encoding times are just a fraction of the time my G5 took to encode. Managing my picture and music libraries also take just a fraction of the time. With 2 young kids I just don't have the time to tinker around on PC's anymore.
