I will start off by saying I went from a HyperX Cloud Alpha S (wired) headset to these... The transition of sound is different and takes time getting used to. The headset is heavier than most, however hasn't given me any issues. The cushions can get warm, however can easily be replaced by the Wicked Cushions. The sound is great and the options with the EQ's are endless. In all, I believe this is a great headset for any gamer, music, or movie lover!

I upgraded to this from a HyperX Cloud 2 mic. Headset mics always have some distortion and low audio quality going on. As soon as I switched over to this, all my friends noticed how clear my voice was. It sounds incredible compared to a headset mic and even better than my friend's Blue Snowball. I bought it on sale for $40. It's better than some more expensive mics and totally worth it, even if it was priced higher. I will definitely recommend the Samson Q2U to other people!

The sound was clear with no static. The controls are so easy and convenient because they are right there on the headset! Did I mention the mute is noise canceling mike! Amazing headset! Definitely up the the HyperX hype

The RAM works great and in dual channel paired with a Kingston HyperX 16GB Module. My laptop has a quirk that it can't work on the low latency of the HyperX RAM by themselves but will work paired with another chip that defaults the latency higher.

This mic is a great value for the price! It sounds way better than the mic on my HyperX cloud headphone. Really versatile too, whether you’re recording, streaming, or just chatting. I’d only suggest getting some type of mic arm/stand since you need to be close to the mic for it to sound great.
