Kingston Keyboard For Ipad Mini

I gave my wife an 11 iPad Air to upgrade from her 8 year-old iPad Mini. She used a key board with it, so I got her this keyboard for the new one. Seeing that this keyboard has all the features of a laptop rather than the simple typing keyboard she used to use, and the larger iPad, I am wondering if this is now just a laptop with detachable keyboard? Anyway she likes it, so five stars.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Audio quality is way better than the mic in the iPad mini.

I have 10 various speed and capacity SanDisc SSD and tried this KINGSTON for the first time. My first impression wasn't great, the finishing looks cheap, gets hot quickly and speed is slower than my other SSD rated at same speed. But after two months of usage, I now love it. This is the only SSD that connects to my iPad Pro successfully every time, sandisc can be sensitive, I have to flip the cable back and forth, reboot iPad sometimes to see the disc in Files. This may be an iPad APP deficiency but this KINGTON SSD works reliably which is more important for me than speed and look. Yes, it gets hot and slow down, but this little thing unlike my other SSDs never stop working.
