Kingston Ssd A400 Solid State Drive Review

The Kingston A400 - 120GB Solid State Drive Is much faster than the standard SSD that came in my gaming computer. I feel like the drive really improves the speed and quality of my computer. I would completely recommend the Kingston A400 120GB Solid State Drive to anyone that is looking to improve the quality of their SSD.

Installation was a breeze and I only consider myself to be a hobbyist with computers. I noticed a drastic difference in speed as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this Kingston A400 SSD to my laptop as a secondary internal drive. On my laptop installation was pretty easy. I am a visual learner so I had to look up a video to ensure installation went smooth. Surprisingly it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. I moved most large files from my main hard drive to the Kingston A400 including game files and rebooted my laptop. After doing so I saw a nice increase in startup speed and my laptop runs a lot smoother. SSD drives use to be extremely expensive but now that they are affordable it’s worth replacing the old standard SATA drives. Overall a good experience and a great addition to my laptop performance.

Real world performance is what matters, and the difference between HDD and SSD is huge. I just want Windows to boot up fast, and with Kingston A400 480GB it seems to be twice as fast, so I am extremely pleased with this SSD and I would highly recommend this product.

It started running so much quicker, no lag time at all. It loads real quick now. It was packaged securely and was relatively easy to install. So far I have no issues with it.

The drive has been working flawlessly and everything runs so much faster. It is well worth the cost of the drive. I was a little worried it wouldn't be supported but it works great and really fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this solid state drive as a boot disk for one of my mini pc's. It was a quick and easy install. By putting the OS on the ssd, the pc boots up and starts so much faster than it used to. 120gb isn't a huge amount, nowadays, but it is enough to put most of my regular use programs on and run the peripherals off the external hard drive. I'm currently building a gaming pc and will incorporate ssd boot up in it, for sure.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!
