While I could have reused that floor surge protector and just set it on the bottom of my new network rack, this seemed like the better choice. As a bonus, the lights are welcome feature to an equipment rack in the corner of the basement. Some 1ft extension cables can certainly remedy the occasional issue you may have connecting the wall worts that come with IoT devices. I'm looking to B&H for another Furman unit to protect the stereo cabinet.

In Switzerland, I was on a train with a steep incline and abrasive surface on the floor. Once starting up the steep grade, my RX100 hit the floor on the display and slid four feet before I caught it with my foot. As you can see, the protector took the damage, leaving my RX100, perfect. No better screen protector.

Great little grip! Don't let that little 1200.00 camera slam into the floor. Remove the tape protector and make sure you put it on straight! Because it's not moving after applied.
