There are more and more appliances that have plugs that do not fit into sunken power outlets. This was the perfect solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector has more than enough outlets for my needs, and I find it particularly convenient that the outlets are arranged on two sides. Often, I am unable to comfortably plug in certain appliances because there is not enough space to do so. I like the safety covers too which prevents visiting little fingers from sticking them into places they should not. You have the ability to mount the surge protector on the wall, which is something I definitely want to do to save space. I am looking to set up a home theater in the very near future and will need the coaxial cable protection features for peace of mind. I no longer have a land line, but the phone line feature will be a godsend to those that do. Of course, the main reason for liking this product is that I am now fully protected as far as the appliances that are plugged into it are concerned.

If you're reading this than you know how important it is to have a surge protector at all of your major appliances and electronic outlets. This 7-outlet protector has a fantastic build and works as it should. You just turn it on, attach your other devices to it and that's it. I think the best quality of this surge protector is that it has a thick cable that is sturdy. I recommend having one of the at every outlet that has your laptop, TV or major appliances. Fits great behind furnitures, just be aware of how your appliances will plug into the 6 outlets.  I had to use an adapter to raise one of the socket in order to make room for the large converter to fit.

Yet another well designed SurgeArrest device from APC. Six AC outlets are often needed for kitchen outlet receptacles, but are ofter not available. This solves that issue. Offers two USB charging outputs as well, 2.4A total capacity, it appears. Nice!
