Klipsch Pc Speakers 5.1

I am using these as replacement speakers for my PC Z906 5.1 surround system, specifically for music from my turntable which is attached to my subwoofer/amplifier. I'm using another brand for my center speaker. 5 |

Looking for PC speakers after my Klipsch 5.1 finally died I bought some M-Audio AV40 and was underwhelmed with them. I moved them to my media center pc and bought the Audioengine A5+ for my primary computer. The Audioengine A5+ have impressive sound, solid and full bass (if one is not looking for too much bass) and bright sharp highs. The A5+ don't meet in the midrange perfectly but the other reviews tell me to give them time to break in. Physically they are the least impressive looking speaker I have had on my desk. The important part, I have no complaints with their sound and am very satisfied with my purchase. 5 |

I bought this to replace the aging Klipsch Pro media 5.1! I have a Pro media 2.1 too but I decided to go with this Logitech Z625 because it gives me the option of optical connection to my Mac Pro 2012 which sounds better than analog! also power on and off is right on the right speakers and I don't have to reach down to the back of the sub-woofer to do so. This Z625 sounds great with good tight base. Make sure to place your sub right underneath the computer desk for full effect. As for longevity and durability, I need more time with it but so far so good. 5 |

Excellent for my size room and coupled with the Klipsch 5.1.2 surround is a perfect match. Great sound watching TV and movies. Love the Dolby sound tracks. I love Jazz music (Bob James, Stanley Clark, George Duke, etc.) and it sounds incredible. Very happy I chose Klipsch and Pioneer Elite. 5 |

I bought the Z906 to replace my aging Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 system with a failing amp. I loved the Klipsch speakers, but sadly Klipsch (and seemingly everyone else other than Logitech) has stopped making 5.1 multimedia systems. Thankfully Logitech makes a pretty good unit. The real draw to something like this, in my opinion, is if you want a relatively compact, reasonably-priced, good-sounding setup that you can easily plug a computer into. I've used this sort of setup in my living room with great results, and at a fraction of the cost of buying separate components. Since my computer has pretty solid sound-processing capability, I don't have the need for all the extra features of a stand-alone receiver. The Logitech Z906 packs quite a punch and sounds almost as good as the Klipsch in most situations. Pluses for the Z906 are it's built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding (for things like an XBox) and its included remote control. True, it doesn't handle the Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD soundtracks on Blu-Ray discs, but my computer does, and so the analog pass-through from the PC into the Z906 makes this unnecessary in my case anyway. The Z906 seems solidly built, and is easy to install with its standard speaker mount points and spring-lock speaker wire connectors. One very minor quibble is that the power cable is permanently attached to the sub (the Klipsch used a detachable C14 computer-style plug). Overall, I'm very happy with the Z906. 5 |

Great addition to my system, goes out to a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers.... sounds amazing and really pushes my speakers... much better sound than anything Bluetooth speakers can provide... Old school wired sound is still the best for music... 5 |

I do not think this is too expensive.I had previously used the z-5500, which this replaced; this is not as good but it is satisfying as a 5.1 solution when there are so very few 5.1 solutions for pc gaming available. In fact I am surprised and pleased with it to point of no longer missing the z-5500; when I realized this the other day I was so glad that I felt like writing a second review. I am able to adjust settings for my pc, windows 7, to play music or to play games, and with both I am happily satisfied. It is a satisfying sound, meaning to say there is not anything irritating or frustrating about the sound, esp since I have learned how to adjust the settings by practice; the surround speakers have a more distinct quality than the z-5500 surrounds, brighter I would say; the subwoofer is better than I expected, believable in games and in music both (although is does not move furniture like the z-5500 did). It has an attractive, to me, appearance. It is versatile. 5 |

I bought these to replace two smaller Klipsch speakers (they were fine...but needed bigger speakers as my patio area got bigger). WOW....these speakers actually have bass to them and fill my outdoor area with beautiful sound. I have two other Polk speaker systems in my house and could not be more pleased with all of the Polk products I own. 5 |
