Klipsch Upfiring Speakers Review

I purchased these upfiring speakers after reading about Dolby Atmos sound. Wow! Instead of listening to 5.1 surround coming from my left, right, center front speakers and left, right rear speakers and my subwoofer, it now sounds as though I'm in a geodesic dome of speakers with sound coming from everywhere around and above me. Dialogue is clearer and music envelopes me, while the sound effects of the movies happen in a real-world environment. These Dolby-enabled speakers unleashed my tuner's Atmos capabilities. It's quite remarkable.

I bought these pair of Atmos upfiring speakers to go along with the Sony floor standing speakers, which they perfectly fit. Although many people complain about the effectiveness of upfiring speakers compared to in-ceiling ones, these work good as long as your ceiling surface is even and not too high, which otherwise would cause sound dispersion, and therefore not so much impact. Calibration is fundamental

The sound on these are fantastic while perfectly hearing the highs and having really good bass for the size of the speaker. I’ve been using other speakers in the past but klipsch has to be my new favorite. This speaker is hands down the best out there for its price and size. Highly recommend this great product!

After I unboxed the speakers and set them up, I was curious how they sounded, so I decided to watch a movie. These speakers are awesome and sound quality is just like in a movie theater! I was extremely surprised with the weight since I wasn’t expecting the speaker to be heavy. I replaced my old speaker with this because the sound quality sounds much better and placing it closer to the tv makes it appear that that it’s coming directly from the screen. The dialogue was was crystal clear and powerful. The design has a very elegant look to it that matches with the theme of my living room. The speakers also come with a grille which it attaches magnetically which can protect the speakers and it can as well change its appearance. The cleaning process is only occasionally and is very easy to follow. Overall, I most definitely recommend these speakers because of its high quality and sound deliverance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Klipsch - RP-502S II surround sound speakers seem to be of very high quality. The fit and finish is stunning. The speakers look great with or without the magnetic covers on. They are also easy to dust with a soft cloth. The sound is nice and crisp. At around 16 pounds each they are kind of heavy so make sure you mount the on a stud. Connecting with bare end wires will work best to get a more flush mount. Even better if your wires are ran through the wall.

The design and craftsmanship are impeccable. These speakers are stunningly beautiful. I prefer them without the covers to appreciate the work that has been put into production. Before I set these up in their surround sound positions, I plugged them into the front speaker slots to see what they were capable of. Even though it's not what they're intended for, the sound was flawless and impressive. As surround sound speakers they do their job perfectly. Capable of so much more, they are a wonderful surround addition to any home audio setup. The Klipsch name speaks for itself, and they have outdone themselves yet again. Wonderful product, A++.
