Knox Gear 27 Quart Electric Cooler

I have another 150 quart coleman cooler but was getting tired of blowing money on ice. Insert the Pelican 150 and problem solved. This is a big cooler. Look at the measurements and think about the size. But, that size is needed to give you the insulation. Cooler works great, and for anyone looking at the other similar products in the market you aren't going to find any better pricing for the size, not to mention the FREE expedited shipping. Look at what some of the other vendors want to ship this product. Remember, the shipping weight is 81 pounds. B&H was great to work with, and they have gained my business with their customer care. 5 |

I have a small hatch back and was looking for a mobile power station to use with my electric cooler. The space in my trunk is very constrained and simply put, this knocks it out of the park. This unit easily runs my cooler for 24 hours, even in my confined trunk with minimal airflow. I have also been using it as a portable power station to run my Laptop, charge USB devices, etc. with zero difficulties. It really is as simple as plug in and go. The light weight is also a massive bonus and makes loading the car very simple! 5 |

Matthews makes great gear and they've been my first choice for grip and electric products. 5 |

Kinda reminds me of the muslin used in the background of interviews in the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix. Using it primarily as a background for Zoom calls atm but could see using this for an interview setup if a room is ugly. Have received many compliments from colleagues. Do not bother with cheap knock offs this is the real deal. 5 |

This is the third one I've bought. The electric goes out pretty often in my neighborhood and these things protect my computers and recording gear by letting me shut them down properly when the power goes out. 5 |

I'm regularly amazed at how often I need adapters between 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 with photography gear, and now that I have audio stuff too, the 5/8-27 threads are everywhere. These perfectly machined little doodads make it so simple to connect gear/support items that should have come with their own adapters. 5 |

In what's been an extensive search for a bag that meets my specific requirements, the Anvil 27 is the first and only model to tick so many boxes. Specifically, I needed something that: * Could carry all of my gear, including a Canon EF100-400 II and Canon EF70-200 f2.8, and still have all external pockets available for personal items. * Had sufficient space to carry my camera with whatever lens happens to be attached at the time. * Deep enough to let me carry my EOS 5DMkiii with GPS receiver mounted * Had a removable waist-belt as I prefer not to have this attached unless walking long distances * Was well-built and looked good, but also didn't scream out I'm full of camera gear - come steal me * Supported modular accessories (water bottle, accessory cases, etc ...) * Could carry a mono/tripod if required, but didn't have loose hanging straps when not required Prior to discovering this bag I'd been using a LowePro Sling which has served me extremely well, however as my collection of lenses has grown, I've had to plan what to take and what to leave behind. The Anvil 27's main compartment lets me store my camera, lenses, flash and filters with room for more, and the 3 large pockets on the inside of the lid easily carry the power pack and cable, remote controls, manual and memory cards. I was nervous about buying this bag because I couldn't find any in Sydney to look at first, and as it's so new, there were very few reviews available. This said, as soon as the package arrived and I opened the box, I knew I'd made the right decision. I mentioned above that it ticks more boxes than any other bag I've researched - the only improvement I'd like to see, but it's far from a deal breaker, would be some feet on the bottom to protect the bag when sitting upright. Overall, it's met all of my most critical requirements, looks great, feels comfortable even when full, and will ensure that when a great photo opportunity presents itself, I'll have the right gear with me. 5 |

I've been using Tamrac since the 1980s for all my professional gear for transport, availability, and protection, and all their products have been reliable, rugged, and comfortable; the Anvil 27 and 23 I purchased prior have been no exception. I have not experienced any cracking with the inner plastic pouches, as some seem to have happen to them but I'm still not a fan of them, the mesh pouches of previous iterations in the the same category of camera backpack always seemed to work fine for me. As for comfort the Anvil 27 beats the old Expedition 7x, and 8x to pieces. 5 |
