At first glance it can be easy to dismiss the Pocket Operator KO as a “toy”. Watching YouTube videos online it appears that the sky is the limit. Like many musical instruments you get out of it what you put in. I find the limited tool set to be liberating. Sampling and pattern making is a breeze and you can turn every day sounds into compelling loops. In the hands of someone who is invested you could create a whole beat or instrumental piece. It is not going to replace a Roland SP 404 or Akai, but given the size of the item it punches well above it’s weight. (Pun slightly intended). My main complaint that exporting any loops or patterns is a pain and requires numerous other tools. However, if you want to be able to play with music and loop making on the go it is an absolute charm. The build quality of the board is considerably more sturdy than looking at any pictures would lead you to believe, but I think a case of some type is needed if you intend to have this thing for a duration. Overall, if you want something that can make music without breaking the bank the KO Pocket Operator is really in a class by itself. I recommend this as the first PO anyone should get. Load up a few YouTube videos follow along how to use it then just go around the house collecting sounds, you’ll have a blast.

I got this Teenage Engineering PO35 Speak Vocal Synth after seeing several demos and reviews on YouTube and was quite impressed. (I also bought the PO33 KO at the same time for the same reason) Now that I've had it 2 weeks I am amazed at what it can do as I am with the KO. This is another addictive little machine. It is a great addition to my entire Synthesizer setup which consists of a Digitone, Moog Matriarch, Hydrasynth, 2 PolyChained Skulpt SE's and Behringer Model D, Neutron, K2 and Pro1. As well as my Gretsch Drum Kit, and Fender Tele and Jazz Bass which I have been sampling sounds from. I have been wanting to add a Synth Sampler but just didn't want something that would take up a lot of space or be too costly especially since I feel Samplers by their very nature are a bit of a novelty and need to be used sparingly. There is quite a bit of sampling power in it and it is quite fun to create new and unique samples. The built in Microphone is surprisingly good quality. 120 seconds of Sample Memory is quite adequate. The 8 Effects are very useful. The Drum Machine Presets are very good quality and the ability to get replaceable drum sounds with Microtonic is a great feature. I do recommend getting a case for it not only to protect it but also a case makes it much nicer to work with as it gives it a better form factor in your hands or on your Workstation. I chose to get a Rev5 case from Dich Studios. The offer them in Color Schemes that match the PO's. and they work with or without the Hangtag Lastly you really can't beat the price for this much technology in a nice small package.

These came included with my Pocket Operator 33 KO, came pre charged, have been working great, havent had to recharge yet. good stuff, would have paid for.

This calculator is beautiful, stylish and perfect. Item exceeded my expectations. I would purchase again.

The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix.

This camera is very well built as well as sturdy while at the same time being light in weight. I got great images on my first try. It comes with a simple calculator that gets you in the ballpark of exposure times. I am also enamored of how easy it is to pack and carry around.

I've been using this for work for a few months now and it's been working great. I set a programmable key for the calculator app which I use frequently. With use of 8 - 10 hours a day the batteries have not needed to be changed. The mechanical keys are much more accurate that the standard I've been used to using. Much easier to type on.
