Kodak 8.1 Megapixel Digital Camera Manual

I love my Kodak PIXPRO FZ55 Digital Camera (Blue)!!!! I give it a 5 star rating!!!!! I love the color of Blue!!!! I just have to learn how to use it. The only thing that I did not like was IT DID NOT HAVE AN OWNER'S MANUAL with it!!! Why do you not include a Owner's Manual????? How are you to learn about the camera & how to use it if there is no manual????? Otherwise I love it!!!! Include an owner's manual with each camera so customers can learn how to operate their new cameras!!!!!

I have yet to switch to digital imaging. Wherever I go I take my Yashica T4 camera, and I use Kodak Gold film: ASA 200 in the summer and ASA 400 starting in the autumn. B & H has wonderful prices, and I love this film. So I keep going back to B & H.

Used with fish eye lomo camera. Great sensitivity allows use outdoor without the flash, even in cloudy conditions. Able to capture more details with the flash indoor, even in the corner of the frame with the fisheye lens camera of Lomography series (reminder-fisheye lens captures 180 degrees of view). The film cost is OK at $, however, processing is a bit pricey at $ for 36 frames on matte paper, single set, no CD. Though its understandable that most of the people are doing digital pics this times and not too many stores are handling the development anymore. I wish B and H Store prints my Kodak film on Kodak (not Fuji) paper for better results. For the above reasons I only use color print films for vacation once or twice a year and with the fisheye lens, because i couldn't get the same special effects and sometimes punchy saturated colors with my small Canon digital camera and sometimes bigger Olympic digital camera is not doing the job as well.

I bought this camera to make the leap from a digital point and shoot to a digital SLR. I last used an old film SLR 10 yrs ago, so it'll be nice to see what I remember and learn even more about photography. I'm very happy the camera accepts AA lithium batteries and there is a lengthy printed operating manual too. Additionally, there are more than enough manual settings for my needs. Lastly, the price is right and was lowest on B&H! I haven't found any cons yet.

This is unique full manual and auto camera as last top small digital camera. Fantastic shots!

Great entry digital SLR camera with bright viewfinder and full manual control for students of photography. I added a Cannon 40mm 2.8 for point and shoot. But a beginner should add a 50mm prime lens IMO. Get the bulb cable for long exposures for maximum creativity. I have found manual focus useless compared to my film cameras, the autofocus just works.

I specifically wanted a digital camera with manual controls, like the one my dad had when I was growing up, and this camera exceeded my expectations. Having used it for a few weeks now, I can confidently say that I absolutely love it.

It's a manual focus lens, with a manual aperture ring that is controlled from the lens itself. It took a little getting used to... But I love it. For me, it's like using my old AE-1 but with the convenience of digital. For those who have never used a manual camera, this lens may not be for you. The fixed focal length and manual controls may be considered drawbacks for some people. I had found the transition from analog to digital to be difficult, and this lens helps me shoot the way I did when I was young and idealistic.... But I digress. This lens is known for its dreamy effect at wide apertures, and it delivers. But I was surprised at how sharp the images are when stopped down to f11 or f16! I did some test shots from my roof, and when reviewing the images on my computer I was able to see details from blocks away in sharp focus. The only thing I don't like about the lens is something I consider to be a design flaw. The markings on the aperture ring are covered up by the hot shoe on the camera, so that I have to turn it at an awkward angle to see which aperture I'm on. I've already gotten used to it, but it was annoying. Otherwise, I just adore this lens, and I'm currently using it more than any other.

I use the Ektar in my Nikon F4s with various lenses. I have never had a failure with Kodak film.. I also appreciate the latitude that it gives in tough lighting situations. For the most part, film is still better than digital, though in the next 10 years, digital will probably catch up. The only downside is that it has to be sent out for processing, so the image is not instantly available.
