This film comes in a Kodak box labeled ColorPlus 200 when I first saw it in Kodak stores a year ago here in Manila and priced more competitively. Its color character is more neutral than Gold Max or Fuji's. It is perfect for travel in the tropics where heat and humidity abound but doesn't seem to affect the color. 5 |

Gold is excellent. 200 ISO won't exactly be night shooting friendly (does Kodak even put out reciprocity failure guidelines for this?), but gives you a bit more flexibility than 100 ISO. Very much a daylight film - expect it to accent yellows a bit more. 5 |

I found the Kodak 200 gold to have excellent color rendition. The exposure latitude was quite good also. The dynamic range on this film is quite a bit better than my Nikon 5500 digital camera. One of the shots I just got back went from shade under a tree too bright sunlight and a freshly painted white bridge. All of this came out at the right exposure. There is no way any of my digital cameras could've done this . The color is really excellent on this film. 5 |
