Kodak Dock Plus Portable Instant Photo Printer Review

I received this a few days ago, took a few minutes to set up but for a portable printer it does a good job. i printed a photo on plain paper and it looked nice, i haven't tried using glossy photo paper yet but I'm sure the quality would only be better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking to get a portable pocket printer to print pictures from my smartphone to put them in my scrapbook. After doing some research, I have decided to try the Instax Square Link Smartphone Printer. What I like about this portable smartphone printer is that it takes less than a minute to print a photo and the battery life is great. The prints are like the size of a wallet photo, it’s like a Polaroid kind of style of photos.

This is my third instant photo printer and my favorite. The print size is decent and it just works. I loved the quality on a competitor’s dye sublimation prints, but I wasted a lot of time and expensive paper because each print had to go back into the printer multiple times and it would jam all the time.

I had run out of glossy photo paper for my inkjet home printer. I tried a local store to purchase the paper to finish the job I was working on. They didn't have Kodak, but another brand of photo paper. The results were bad. The paper deformed from the ink being applied. I immediately logged on to my PC and into the B&H site and placed my order for the Kodak Pro paper. The order arrived in four days and I was able to complete my job with beautiful, flat, photos. Thank you B&H and Kodak!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago and just needed to use it the other day for the first time. This portable dock is great for traveling, or even just sitting at home! I just plugged my laptop into it and it held a charge to let me finish the task I needed to complete, since I wasn’t near my charging cable.
