There is a reason Pelican cases are expensive--they are extremely well made and fully live up to every single claim they make about durability and security. This is an excellent hard case that is fully weather- and waterproof. I have just returned from a full week in the Canadian wilderness with two of these cases, and the contents of these cases were fully protected throughout, including during the capsizing of a canoe. The case is extremely easy to operate, and has handy stay-open latch mechanism. It balances well when fully opened, so does not fall over backward. There are feet on two sides of the case, so it stands and is very stable whether lying flat or standing handle-up. When lying flat the case is fully flat on the inside, allowing you to stow, sort and arrange gear very nicely. There is a great deal of space inside. The case is very light. We put two, loaded, inside a single checked back and did not incur an overweight fee. Mind the latches. They make a distinctive click when fully engaged, so make sure you have fully closed the latch. After the trip, it cleaned up very nicely in a large sink with dish soap and water. Apart from the scratching, you'd never know it had been out in the wilderness. Also, now that the trek is done, I intend to use these cases at home, for valuable objects. Bottom line: this is an outstanding case, lightweight and extremely sturdy, designed well and fully waterproof. You get what you pay for, and you get it all when you pay for this case.

I continue to maintain that Kodak Gold is the best consumer film out there, especially when you get this three-pack (single rolls cost far more per unit—not worth it). Sure, it's a little grainy and the colors aren't the MOST accurate out there, but that's exactly what gives it its signature character and warmth. Memories photographed on Gold somehow come out more nostalgic and beautiful. Seriously, this is magical stuff.

Use the case to transport Pany 17HD monitor. Fits snugly but is well protected. Waterproof, pretty much shock proof and the case is basically indestructible. What more could you ask?

Use this as top case carrier for commuting via motorcycle. Can carry laptop and suit in waterproof case. When I arrrive at work, I simply take it off the bike, pop up the handle and wheel it behind me. Perfect.

Didn’t feel heavy after 22 miles of walking the streets. Best of all it’s waterproof, never had to worry about my equipment getting wet.

Perfect for an old rolleiflex kodak camera

Although it's a consumer grade film, I've found that whenever I load up my Nikon and shoot a roll of Kodak Gold 200 I'm always surprised how great the images look, specifically the color saturation. It handles various lighting situations beautifully. Use in bright light with a polarizer. Use with a flash indoors and the results are usually spectacular. I think Kodak Gold 200 is very underrated. It's really an all around versatile film.
