I have been using Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 for many years..sadly it failed. I viewed many potential replacements....one serious contender didn’t have a separate headphone volume control....unacceptable! I’ve been aware of Focusrite’s reputation and their Gen. 3 is garnering rave reviews. I was blown away. Immediately I noticed a bump in headroom. The overall sound was more defined across all frequency ranges. Setting up this item was a breeze in my DAW. N moments I was ready to work. I have only begun to use this but I am so pleased. I am also hugely pleased with B &H. Twice, in one month, they came thru. Prices beat out known music equipment vendor prices......shipping is ‘FAST’ . B & H doesn’t mess around. They are my ‘Go To” place now for my music needs! THANK YOU!!!!! 5 |

Using these Mogamis in my studio to connect a Komplete Audio 6 to my ProTools rig. Works like a charm, and the sound is crystal clear! There really is a quality difference with Mogamisthey're worth the price bump, IMO. 5 |

I use the Novation Impulse 61 with NI Komplete 9 and Cubase 7 and it is awesome. The ability to either set my controllers or have Automap map them is a great feature and timesaver. Great feel on the keys and pads and intuitive display. Only con is that you have to download a zip file for Cubase 7 from Novation to utilize Automap feature, but once its dragged and dropped or copied to your Steinberg Components file your good to go. I've only had the Novation Impulse 61 for about 2 weeks now, and I love it so far, can't wait to see what else I can do with it the more I learn it as I go. 5 |

I was looking for an alternate option to the Sony G-Master 50mm - something that wouldn't break the bank. My requirements were that it needed to be at least f1.8, needed to be full frame, needed autofocus, and wanted something smaller and lightweight compared to the G-master. I tried a variety of options and settled on the Viltrox - I'm glad I gave it a chance, since many review have been harsh, I almost didn't. The lens AF works well even in low light on my Sony a7S III. I was expecting it to hunt a lot more but it was fairly solid. Not G-Master level but certainly usable on professional shoots. It's sharp, sharper than I was expecting. I ended up liking it so much I also bought the Viltrox 24mm. Both together were still half the price of one G-master lens. I'm going to invest in some more CFexpress A memory cards with the money I saved. Woohoo! If you'd like to see samples I shot - check out Film Jams on YouTube. 5 |
