Konica Hexar Af 35Mm Film Camera

I own two of these straps. One is on a Hexar AF, the other on a Fuji X100. It is very well made and comfortable. The leather cynch stays in place well to secure the strap to the wrist. The shape is also excellent, wide around the wrist to give lots of comfort. Highly recommended. 5 |

I got this bag when I started taking pictures with my first 35mm camera, a Konica Autoreflex TC. I got it in 1978 and used it for 23 years. I passed it on to my son, who was majoring in communications/photojournalism. He used it for 5 years. The compartments, the pockets, the closures, the straps have all stood the test of time. Even though it's enjoying a retirement, I wouldn't hesitate to haul it out and use it today. It appears the same today as it did when it was new--well, a little faded here and there and one kind of ugly curb rash rub spot on the corner. Well worth the money. It's a purchase you will not regret. 5 |

Works great in my old Konica Autoreflex film body. 5 |

This bag couldn't be any better or more comfortable. I carry around an M-body and a Hexar, along with some film in the third compartment. For me this bag is perfect for carrying around all day without the fuss of the bag getting on the way. As several others have noted, the velcro is a bit annoying, but it's nothing that should deter you from purchasing this bag. I do not regret getting this bag. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual walking around bag that isn't very large. 5 |

I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very well made and seems sturdy. I don’t know why, but I expected it to be the same type of plastic that some Canon lenses are made from, but it’s actually metal and very well built. It works just fine on my Canon 70D with Konica AR Bellows setup and also when directly attaching a few Konica Hexanon AR lenses which include a 300mm f4.5, 80-200mm f3.5, 50mm f1.7, and 35mm f2.8... The 35mm and 50mm have slight softening at wide open apertures on my 70D camera body, but it’s pretty nice in my opinion. The softening is not there when I use them reversed in the bellows for macro shots. I’ll take that minor issue on those two lenses in exchange for being able to use all four of these lenses directly on my DSLR especially the two small lenses on my old school macro setup with the 70D body. My Konica 80-200mm and 300mm are awesome on this setup with no problems whatsoever. I’ll be doing some bird and wildlife photography this weekend and pixel peeping in Darktable just to verify the sharpness, but so far (judging from zoomed images on back of camera) everything seems legit. I’ll post again if it ain’t sweetness!!! Seriously... For less than 40 fazoolies it’s dope as heck!!! I’m an avid 35mm film shooter ( even in 2018) and have a nice collection of Konica Autoreflex bodies and lenses that I’ve refurbished and truly enjoy, this little jobbie gives me the double pleasure of adding those Konica lenses to an expanding love for digital capture as well. Plus, it engages my creativity and my images can stand out from the cookie cutter crowd of images floating around the ether!!!! I hope... I WILL purchase again... I’ll get all the “other brand” to Canon adapters from this manufacturer then start buying old lenses for my 70D. 5 |
