Krk Classic 5 G3 Powered Studio Monitor Review

I needed to replace an old KRK to match a G3 that I already have... and thankfully I was still able to buy this. It appears to be identical to a G3 with a different name. I'm glad I didn't have to go with the G4s, as the EQ screen on that model is worthless to me. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought these for my KRK rokit 5 g3 monitors. I was reluctant at first thinking they were going to be too small but after I got an answer about them fitting i decided to purchase. they fit perfectly for them. i cannot judge for bigger monitors but any monitor of the krk rokit 5's size will fit nicely with these. i sensed no vibration from the monitors or in the sound quality. they work!

As a long time user of KRK and Yamaha studio monitors -,I was blown away by the Sound reproduction of the 8010s! ..These little marvels have now replaced both my Yamaha HS5 and KRK rockit 5”s as my go to mixing monitors for music and film projects .,, could not be happier ..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor in combination with 2 other g3 that are 27 inch curved. However, this is the main monitor and is a general purpose for my needs from gaming to research for college. It is great for gaming and for just browsing the internet.

SM57 doesn't need recomendation. It's a classic and necessary in every studio.

Powered off of my Unifi POE switch. Running 10 G3 Flex cameras without issue. I installed a Segate 4tb hard drive for more recording time and I didn't have to do anything besides loading it in the tray. Super easy. App loads fast and has a clear image. Such a great price for this device!

An excellent option for studio monitors at this price point and a great alternative to the KRK yellow cones. The Adams sound like they are optimized for creating electronic music: excellent bass response and they sound great at all volumes.
