The Kessler Kwik Camera Plate is a great plate that is well made for the Kessler Kwik release system. These plates are based on the Arca-Swiss system. The plates are reasonable in price, but more expensive than some other quick release plates. I purchased the short plate to use with my Canon C100 and 5D MkII cameras. These plates have 2 screws for mounting. There is another plate that has two 1/4x20 screws, but I chose the 3/8x16 with the 1/4x20 screw option as you can use either one with this plate, but you can't use the 3/8x16 option with the 2- 1/4x20. The threads don't work with the larger screw option. I think this one is more versatile. The plate has 2 screw heads sticking out at each end of the bottom of the plate. These are used as stops so the plate won't accidentally slip out of the plate. You need to press the red release for the plate to come out. The plate is a little longer than the 5D MkII camera body so it sticks out a little, but that hasn't been a problem for me, plus it give you adjustment room for balance. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Running a Kessler Kwik receiver on top as a quick release system and a wooden camera dovetail clamp below it. You can adjust the height of this baseplate and it comes with 2 aluminum rods and a plastic card to ensure you get the correct lens height for a 15mm LWS setup. The only thing I don't like is the wooden cork pad on the top, that's something you usually only see on really low end/entry level tripod heads.

Purchased to work with my Kessler Kwik Stand to mount my 15 lb. 5x7 Linhof Kardan Bi to my tripod. Works perfectly.

This is probably the single best arca swiss plate series I have used. It feels very solid and I am confident with using it to attach tripod heads and sliders with heavy loads. This model I am using for my vintage Canon nFD 400mm 2.8L and It is perfect for adjusting balance when I have a camera with or without a monitor attached. The length is slightly longer than that of the tripod foot but this is a very minor issue. I can still grip the foot for transport and the plate does not interfere too much with comfort. Handholding this 11 1/2 lbs monster may not be ideal, but when I do it a few times, I still does not feel too uncomfortable with the plate attached. While I see some other potential uses for this plate (Large cameras, slider support, or other instruments where large adjustment is required), this seems to be best applied to super telephoto lenses. In regards to this plate and the other plates in this series, I would highly recommend the Kessler Kwik Plates. Really the only con is for most of these you have to pay for shipping. Luckily this one was in stock so shipping was free. When paired with the simply brilliant Kessler Kwik Assembly, this could completely speed up your setup and breakdown times giving more time to relax or shoot.

I love this cover, well fit to the camera. Travellers must have it. B&H service are good but delayed for one day as per tracking indication.

Really good phones...especially for the price. I use them for some general listening, but mostly I'm using them while tracking acoustic instruments in my studio. Fairly long cable and a nice screw on 1/4 adaptor. These things are very efficient compared to the Audio Technia phones I've been using...much louder at the same volume. Comfortable too!
