I just setup a 64TB disk array with thunderbolt 3 connection and it is half as fast as this little powerhouse! I should have purchased more of these instead. It is amazing how fast the SSD drive in this tiny LaCie Rugged 2TB SSD Pro really is. I can edit anywhere now on my 16 MacBook Pro M1 Max laptop. 4K video plays back beautifully. I'm using the 64TB array now to sync with this as a backup. :) LaCie SSD Pro Thunderbolt 3 Rugged Rocks!

The LaCie 1TB Rugged SSD PRO Thunderbolt 3 External SSD is a true twin to the SSD iMac internal hard drive. Responsiveness is identical. A great upgrade to a great iMac providing the speed and space for very large RAW photos, processing and music.

This cable makes super-fast data transfers. I hooked it up to my Xcellon M2NS USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 M.2 SSD Enclosure and was very impressed with the speeds it provided. This cable and an M.2 drive are a match made in heaven and give blazing speeds. It also rated for 8k or dual 4k monitor support which is fantastic. Another nice plus is it is rated to handle 240w power delivery so it can be used to charge or power most accessories (laptops, peripherals etc.). This cable is definitely future proof and ready for whatever you throw at it, including the ability to daisy chain up to 6 additional devices. It is designed to work with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB-C so it is very versatile. The build quality is also fantastic. Cable feels great and is flexible but still sturdy. Got this for my latest LaCie Rugged drive. Although those drives are indeed rugged, I like having a case.

This is a quality thunderbolt cable; not much else to say.
