I brought this as a replacement cable. It works as expected. If your wondering what the this cable is for, make sure you have a thunderbolt jack.

I just setup a 64TB disk array with thunderbolt 3 connection and it is half as fast as this little powerhouse! I should have purchased more of these instead. It is amazing how fast the SSD drive in this tiny LaCie Rugged 2TB SSD Pro really is. I can edit anywhere now on my 16 MacBook Pro M1 Max laptop. 4K video plays back beautifully. I'm using the 64TB array now to sync with this as a backup. :) LaCie SSD Pro Thunderbolt 3 Rugged Rocks!

I'm suing the Thunderbolt Dock as additional storage space to my existing Thunderbolt Lacie drives, I already had spare hard drives to use in the dock, all daisychained together ensures high speed transfer rates. The RocketStor Thunderbolt Dock was very easy to install & use on my Mac, solid construction that will last. Regarding design faults with this dock, they should have installed a double Thunderbolt port on the unit, for daisychaining devices, & the dock should be supplied with a Thunderbolt cable as standard.

The LaCie 1TB Rugged SSD PRO Thunderbolt 3 External SSD is a true twin to the SSD iMac internal hard drive. Responsiveness is identical. A great upgrade to a great iMac providing the speed and space for very large RAW photos, processing and music.

I bought this Hard drive because my Lacie 3TB Thunderbolt hard drive that I bought in April started making weird noises and my computer wasn't reading it. I lost my entire information and a lot of video projects. I talked with a costumer assistant and she told me that I won't loose the warranty if I open it up to recover the information. When I opened it, Surprise! I realize that Lacie use the same 3TB internal hard drive from barracuda inside this expensive machine. Im so glad I bought this hard drive!

Worked well to connect a LaCie 6Big Thunderbolt 3 RAID (via a Thunderbolt 2-3 adapter) to an older Mac mini. Note that this *is* a Thunderbolt 1/2 (older minidisplayport-style connector) cable.

I am VERY happy with my LaCie 500GB Rugged Thunderbolt External SSD drive purchased at the one and only B&H!  I am a composer and store ALL of my Orchestral Sample Libraries on the Lacies. I currently own two of them! The Thunderbolt is blazing fast and the drive is completely silent. I highly recommend!
