Laminating Machine And Sheets

This is great for a school setting, or anywhere that has a laminating machine. I could see the posters getting messed up if you hang it up as is, but after being laminated its just fine.

Almost like laminating before printing! I just started to use it and wish it were available when I was in school!!

So, I had an earlier version of this machine for 16 years--until it ceased to duplex. I haven't had this very long but so far, so good. I like the configuration of controls better, but it is noisier. Still, very fast, good quality print and takes a little less space than my old one. There were machines half the size, but this one gets something like 18,000 (yes, that's right) sheets of print to a cartridge and the others got 1500. So it cost 5 times as much for the same number of sheets with a cheaper machine. If you print a lot, as I do, this is worth the difference and quickly makes up the difference in cost of the machine and the cartridges.

These are Silhouette brand platform sheets that fit my Alta just like the originals that came with the machine do. I looked everywhere and B&H had a better price than Silhouette did, even during their sale. They arrived well packaged so they didn't bend in the slightest during shipping. I couldn't even find these at all on Amazon so I'm so glad I found them here.

This is a smooth, sturdy paper, and I am pleased with the printing results. It's a bright white paper, which is perfect for my laminating projects.

Was nervous a bit because I was laminating by hand using an iron!!! This stuff is amazing. Rather pricey though. I am in Mxico and i was charged 1085 pesos for import and duty fees on top of what I paid for the product.

The inks work great and you get all the sheets it say's it does.
