This lens is always in my landscape kit. It is sharp, light weigh, and takes up little space in a backpack.

If you are a landscape photographer, then this one is a must in your backpack. Best with: waterfalls, waterscapes, mid-day shots where the light is harsh, etc.. Word of Caution: Pay attention when you use it at wide-angle focal lengths as it may cause un-even polarization some times.

Heavy duty, great tripod, I like it a lot. little heavy to carry in your hand or backpack for landscape photography but I can still manage to take it with me.

A great addition to any Landscape photographer's backpack. High-quality glass with uniform density throughout. it's worth the extra dollars.

I use this for landscape shoots which are usually long exposures, and usually carry it around on my backpack. The center column is just great! Changing it from vertical to horizontal is so easy. It's not as light or compact as I wish for travelling, but it's the compromise I get for also going after stability.

As my gear has changed, so has been my needs to keep everything organized and this backpack is exactly what I needed. I primarily take landscape photos and as such, go hiking alot. My previous backpack did not have the padding nor the roominess to handle the necessary gear one would take while out hiking. Use primarily for landscape and wildlife photography. Yes, it's added weight to attach to my backpack, but travels nicely (remove the ballhead if desired). But the steady platform pays-off on uneven ground or windy conditions. Tripod is great height for my vision and with collapsing legs gives you the added advantage of that low angle shot. Legs adjust easily.
