Lapel Lavalier 3.5Mm Jack Condenser Wired Microphone

I am using the Rode VXLR+ to connect an inexpensive plug-in-power (condenser) lavalier microphone (with male TRS jack) to my (female XLR) microphone pre-amp on a desktop mixer. The main objective was to circumvent the built in mic on my laptop when I am on web meetings. All I can say is Wow! Everyone says I sound crisp, clear, loud without distortion, and there is no external distracting noise coming through. I used this setup to make a recording of my voice and I was floored. This is a high quality connector with robust input and output jacks and delivers. I expect this product to last a lifetime. As always, B&H ordering, follow through and delivery was fast and flawless.

I bought a I bought a Rode smartLav+  Lavalier Condenser Microphone for Smartphones and this plug was needed to connect the microphone to the smartphone. (I believe these plugs come with the Smart phones but who can remember where you put it?) Just buy it and make your life simpler. Recommend both of these items together. Great for video posts. The microphone does a great job at singling in on the interviewee so that any background noise will not interfere, even in loud arenas or outdoor venues. It is easy to use and effortless to set up. We will use it with all of our web streaming programming, including feature interviews and periodical online shows.

Works great on the Red Epic. This is especially important because the Red Epic is not wired for just any 1/8 microphone jack. The ME-52W can be left in the Red Epic for scratch or moved away from the noisy fans with the extension cable.

The LC-1 Lapel Clip, available from B&H, is the original that comes with the Azden lapel microphone, but is not avaible from Azden. The clips are designed well but may still be subject to breakage if talent tries to snap the microphone on or off the clip rather than sliding it.

I have very little wind noise when I use this with a Sennheiser lavalier microphone.

This case is being used to house 2 sennheiser lavalier transmitters, there assoicated lapel microphones elements and 4 AA batteries. I was easily able to remove the cube foam pieces that I needed to allow the above noted items. They fit snuggly and will last MUCH longer being safe and secure in this case than the microphone bag they were previously stored in. My employees also think it is pretty niffty.

Had no problems with it. I have both the handheld microphone and the lapel microphone and they both fit well and securely!
