Laptop Asus Gamer I9

Not a gamer so this is the model! Mounted an i9 non-k and its running excellent!

I recently upgraded my pc to an i9 13900k on an Asus ProArt Z790 board with 64gb of DDR6 ram .... I skimped on the GPU with an Intel Arc A770 ...it worked well (if a little jumpy with layered 4k footage) where it really suffered was with Neat videos denoiser plugin which literally brought render times to a snail's pace. So as Nvidia recently released the new super cards I decided to upgrade my graphics card to the Asus ProArt (love the black & gold :) 4070ti Super 16gb .... the difference is staggering. Smooth timelines and Neat video denoiser runs much faster (though it is still a render hog).

No complaints. Works great with i9 14900K. No BIOS updates needed on my end to get it working. I've had great success with all ASUS motherboards I've purchased in the past. I don't think I've ever purchased a bad ASUS motherboard. All work and continue to work years down the road.

The ROG Strix Z790-E is an outstanding motherboard! I installed an i9-13900K and 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, along with an ASUS TUF-Gaming RTX 4090 OC, and two Samsung 990 Pro NVME drives. This is the FASTEST performance system I have ever built in 35+ years of building PCs. I am a dedicated ASUS customer and fan. MANY options on this motherboard as well!

I just matched this with an ASUS Prime Z-370 A. This is a great processor. I though about getting an i9, but this is a lot less costly and I can't imagine how anything could be faster. I never overclock. I'm using the CPU's graphics. I'm not a gamer.

Did a full on Noctua build with a i9-11600K and an Asus Rog Z590A. It is beautiful. A piece of art. And everything comes apart so easily. This is by far the best size and easiest box to work with. The mesh keeps everything very cool and the design creates a nice vacuum to keep the air flowing. My wife loves it.

Small sleek PSU enough to power i9 14900k and Asus Rog 4090, unless your trying to overclock both. Then your going to need more power.

Needed a new motherboard and not a gamer, just needed what I would call an enterprise type board to use for a home lab virtual machine desktop/server. I run Linux on everything and ASUS parts are compatible as long as you are not on the bleeding edge latest and greatest so you dont have to wait for a new kernel. Got the pc built, fired it up first time and worked as designed, no complaints. Thanks ASUS for great products!
