Laptop Charger Plugged In Not Charging Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked as expected! I plugged my phone charger wire into it to plug my phone and can also use it for any other device with a usb charging port. I had no issues with it not charging so far! (My old one I used to have would do that)

I would recommend this charger. I now keep two unused original Apple cables which I had at home plugged into it: one is from a MacBook Air laptop and the other from an older iPhone. Power Delivery and several built-in electronic protections also make it compatible with any device drawing power from a USB A or C port without questioning whether it will ruin expensive electronics (I used to winder about this when wanting to charge my iPhone). In some cars/ trucks, that includes scenarios like leaving everything plugged-in, even when cranking the engine: aside from voltage fluctuations, voltage spikes, short circuit hazards and other protections, I find its size surprisingly compact in size. It's amazing this outputs so much power (great for large capacity batteries/ faster charging). I have tried it with a work LED light, an iPad Pro, two iPhones models and SONY earphones, charging them using the charger USB Type C port and it's a great experience. I also had an older GoPro Hero 5 charging from the USB A port on the charger and all those instances, it felt like whatever I was charging was full or almost full by the time my commute was over. In the car, I have a couple of 12V outlets to choose from and I decided to have it out by my cup holders (beware, keep, dripping water from cold drinks away) for better airflow and easier access. Some cars cut off power to the 12V outlets when locking the doors, some others don't. That's why I was happy to see that it's got a white LED ring light indicator on the charger to see if it's getting any power. I have attached photos and I will update this review if anything comes up. After over a week of daily use, including a long Memorial Weekend trip, I am quite pleased with it. When I got this battery, I plugged it into the charger and the charger into the electrical outlet. I stared at the green charging light for 2 or so hours and, when it went off, I pulled it out and tossed it into my camera. My camera now works! Amazed!

I use this to organize all of my charging cords and wall outlets. I also fits my laptop charger no problem.

Needed a spare charger unit so I can leave one at home plugged in and one in my laptop bag. I consider this a necessary item and glad HP sells it separately.

This charger was a splurge for me, but after using it for a few weeks I feel it's entirely worth it. My first impression was that this unit is chunky, well built, and surprisingly heavy. However, considering it replaced two 65w laptop chargers and three wall warts, it's actually much lighter and more compact than the alternative! The unit is quite powerful. None of my devices require 65-70 watts, so it easily handles all my devices at once. I have no doubt it could handle two devices at 100w also. At first, I figured the little screen was a gimmick (though a cool one), but it is surprisingly useful to be able to gauge whether a cable/device is actually charging. The GaN tech does stay cooler than the old silicon chargers, too. Currently I'm using my Xcellon as a desktop charging hub. It's also a good travel charger if you need to charge a bunch of devices at once. I got it for a trip, and I was carrying a laptop, two phones, small power bank, and some miscellaneous USB-powered devices (flashlights, 18650 battery charger, etc). It definitely cut down on the stuff I had to pack. However, you'll need to set aside a pocket in your bag for it. It's too nice to stuff throw in any corner of your bag, like you might with an old laptop charger. This is, without a doubt, the coolest charger I own (in both senses of the word).

You never quite know how much you can enjoy a product until you get it! I love this charger, and as a telecommuter it has been a lifesaver charging my phone, iPad, and laptop! Will definitely look into getting additional products for my team!
