Laptop Computer Charging Station With Network Switch

It is great - perfect for my needs traveling around the world but then 'the' office computer for me when I am in the office network environment. It runs hotter than any of my previous laptops which might not worrry anyone else as much as me and I hate it doesnt have an external on/off switch to activate it when on the docking station. Other than that it is the best buy out there for someone who needs a very robust, light powerful workhorse of a laptop that is also very comfortable on a docking station in an office. 5 |

I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch. One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it. 5 |

It's just a simple network switch, I'm sure it's as good as anything else out there but if you are running a full ubiquity network it communicates with the host computer and the security gateway seamlessly. 5 |

Since I don't have my Primera Bravo XR on the network and I couldn't afford getting the Primera Networking software, I wondered if this USB switch would be a way to share the Bravo XR between a Windows XP and a MacPro computer. It works flawlessly! I am so grateful for B&H Photo having this in stock! Especially with the ability to switch within the OS of the computer you want to have using the device is what sold me on this! 5 |

I bought this switch specifically to allow me to transfer files between my computer and NAS faster. My NAS has two Gigabit network ports and my computer (running Windows 10) has one Gigabit network port. My transfer rates were a measly 35-60MB/sec. I put a 10Gb NIC in my computer and used this switch to bind two network ports the NAS was using together to establish a 2Gb port. The interface on the switch is very easy to navigate and understand. First thing I did, of course, is to change the password. Next I did the binding. I don't have a need for a VLAN where it is located but may end up buying another switch in order to seperate my security camera traffic from the computer traffic. I have options now! With files transfers, I am now getting a solid 110MB/sec transfer rates sustained. I'm hoping I can tweak this a bit more to increase it but it is far better than it was before. 5 |

I teleworked for a year trying to use my small, work laptop. Since I work for the government, I had no other options. When it became apparent that we would continue to telework, I decided to set myself up like my work office. I was assigned a new HP computer and immediately ordered the docking station that would accommodate it. We cannot use the USB ports on our computer for anything but a mouse (yes, we have to use a wired mouse!) so the docking station allows me to plug in two 24" screens, my external hard drive, my mouse and keyboard. It's just great to have all of those wires behind my system and my setup now is as good as it was when I was working in the office. This was money well-invested! 5 |

Ordered this docking station, came in the next day. It's small, and plugs into the computer/laptop via USB-C Cable, which is nice because it allows me to put my laptop in a more convenient area, and of course takes up less space. Works great too. 5 |

Setting up this printer was fairly easy and did not take very much time. The install process for the software on my computer took a little while, but it wasn't confusing. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to my internet network. I connected it directly on the printer, and although it connected, it said the signal was weak. When I tried to search for the printer through my computer, it said it couldn't be found. I had to bring my laptop downstairs and connect my computer with a USB cord and setup the network that way, and then the signal was strong and my computer identified it just fine. Not really sure why that happened, but glad it worked out in the end. Secondly, I'm so glad I can finally print something without having to bring my laptop downstairs each time. The printer is super quick, and I have not received any errors when trying to print anything. It properly shows up as the first option in my printing options. I also thought it was awesome that it came with a good supply of ink! This is a review for the Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5850 Supertank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can use this charging cord while I work on my computer laptop for work. It easily connects to the USB-C port on the laptop and it only took a few minutes to charge up my phone. I was pleasantly surprised because usually the computer charging cords are slower to charge than the wall outlet. But this one worked great. 5 |

Able to turn on or turn off appliances. I also use them to control of charging of some devices e.g. laptop computer, and cell phone. I use the timer function so that they won't be overcharged. Easy to setup. Your phone has to be connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5 |
