Laptop Computer Failure Rates

I paid $109, now its $99, which is an even better deal, it has decent speed and great build quality, looks killer like something out of a scifi movie. Obviously haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, but I did read reviews at other sites before buying, I didnt see many negative comments so I assume these don't have high failure rates, which is why i chose it, but do some research as failure rates become apparent over time and things might have changed by the time you read this.

So far so good! The transfer rates are fast. I love how I can backup files from my desktop computer (USB) and plug directly into my laptop without extra cables. And as always B&H products and service are top notch.

Device drivers loaded without problem. I have achieved 30mbps transfer rates with this drive. I was surprised by how small it is! USB fits snugly in my laptop's USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports, unlike what I read on a few other reviews. I use the drive for a complete backup to my windows 7 laptop, and general file storage. If I were to buy another drive, I'd go with the 2 TB or larger capacity.

i was getting a hard drive failure Hb6 first cloning attempt didn't work I defragmented the old drive. The second time i had a solid red light after 3 hours i installed the new hard drive in the computer and it works fine boots right up every thing seems fine So IDK I am going to try it again on another computer everything can be replaced except twenty years of pictures thanks

I need CD blanks to first backup my computer, in case of external/internal hard drive failure. And to copy/burn and to store relevant data. So I choose Verbatim because they are highly reliable and I have had success with them before.

Crucial is a Micron product and I have never had a failure with their computer memory. This quality seems to apply to their SSDs too. They consistently get top ranking in reviews and tests and are affordable. All my Crucial SSDs have come with a spacer so that they fit 7 or 9 mm housings in what ever application I need them for. This is why I keep buying them.

This computer to replaces a 2017 MacBook Pro that had a battery failure. I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom regularly and was anxious to note the speed improvement. What I have noticed is that it runs cooler in my lap and Topaz DeNoise AI plugin runs significantly faster. I have not tried any major time consuming photo enhancement in either LR or PS as yet.
