I have used these tripods for the past two years with my Video Production students. These are middle school students who beat, bang, drop, and really put these tripods to the test. I teach a video production class for middle school students. As part of my curriculum I try to teach when it's appropriate to use a built-in mic and when it's best to use an external mic. More often than not, we are using external mics. Part of my budget this year allowed me to get a shotgun mic, boompole and an XLR adapter with phantom power. 5 |
