I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)

I was a little concerned about choosing the i5 quad core processor over the i7 that I had in my previous HP computer as I utilize a few adobe programs at a time. So far, I have no complaints with the overall speed, and can't really tell a difference. The screen is also smaller than my last which I was worried would be an issue but I honestly love the portability of this computer!  The Touch Bar is actually way cooler than I ever expected it to be, I think Mac has done a poor job of promoting its capability. And the integration with my iPhone is really awesome. They work together seamlessly and made setup a breeze as it sent a lot of data over to my computer. I was a little disappointed that it took longer to ship out than originally advertised especially since I chose to buy through B&H specifically because they had the earliest arrival date. I ultimately lost out on an entire day of work which cost me additional money, but considering the current climate, I understand and prefer to support local business over large chains. I've only had great experiences with B&H thus far. I just hope in the end this laptop outlasts my previous (also very expensive) laptop. Only time will tell.

Connects my Asus laptop (ux501vw) with my Akitio Thunder2 Quad without any problems. Transferred 1TB of data with no problem. Running about 350MB/sec.

Good little card reader for Laptop computers, but currently have not had the chance to try it out to see if it works good and how long it will last.

Wanted 7D but couldn't justify the cost when compared to the 60D. Metal weather sealed body is nice, but I have used the Rebel XT for several years and never had a problem with the plastic. Very durable and eaiser to carry around all day. The extra processer and extra frames per second are nice on the 7D but in reality probably make little difference for my purposes. The $600 saved on the 60D can go towards some more L glass and I still get the same sensor, processer, and mega pixels. Only down sides so far are that no auto focus in movie mode, but neither does the 7D and the auto focus in the live mode is so slow as to almost be usless. Articulating screen is something I was leary of but it actually seems very strudy and is quite handy for video. Controls very easy to use and much more convenient than Rebel. I use manual mode alot and it is far easier with seperate dials for aperature and shutter speed. Overall very pleased with this camera body. If I want something better, I will save for the fullframe 5D as I feel this camera gives me almost everything the 7D has for far less money.
