Setting up this printer was fairly easy and did not take very much time. The install process for the software on my computer took a little while, but it wasn't confusing. The only problem I ran into was connecting it to my internet network. I connected it directly on the printer, and although it connected, it said the signal was weak. When I tried to search for the printer through my computer, it said it couldn't be found. I had to bring my laptop downstairs and connect my computer with a USB cord and setup the network that way, and then the signal was strong and my computer identified it just fine. Not really sure why that happened, but glad it worked out in the end. Secondly, I'm so glad I can finally print something without having to bring my laptop downstairs each time. The printer is super quick, and I have not received any errors when trying to print anything. It properly shows up as the first option in my printing options. I also thought it was awesome that it came with a good supply of ink! Have been using an older teleprompter with a computer monitor connected by cords to a laptop. Worked good, but it's become too cumbersome and slow to setup with an octopus mess of wires all over the place. Decided to give this a go and so far so good. It is for real like 1/4 the size of the equipment we were using before, so that alone was worth it. While i do like using a real computer to make changes and run the prompter, I think it's just something to get used to to fiddle with an iPad. 5 |

The Mic is not the best out of the box. You must plug it into your computer, download Rode Central, and edit the settings. After that it is perfect. 5 |

Idiot-simple to set up and run either directly connected to a computer or to a QNAP NAS. Connected to a NAS, you get some insight into disk health which you don't get out of your computer; too bad about that one 3TB WD Red which I had thought was healthy! 5 |
