Ever since top vents started coming into vogue, I've longed for a case like this to make an appearance, and it's everything I wanted. The key differentiator of this case compared to most other, modern cases is that it has no vents on the top. For air cooling, this is ideal because you want air to go through the CPU cooler and out the back, not go out the top and skip the cooler entirely or come in from the top and screw up the flow direction. There is a slope in front of the top-mounted PSU that forces the incoming air from the empty space at the top of the front fans down into the CPU cooler. Then the GPU area is fed by additional fans on the bottom to ensure there's plenty of fresh air. This amount of airflow allows you to run the fans at pretty low speeds, being almost silent at 60% in the front and 40% on the bottom, while not significantly reducing the cooling potential. There are mesh filters in front of both sets of fans, keeping the interior a lot cleaner than it would be without them. The panels pop off nicely with some sort of magnetic or tension mounting. Overall, the design of the toolless access and working inside this case feels like an improvement over the Meshify C case I had before. Of course, there is one compromise. If you want non-nvme drives, it only has room for a couple on the rear of the motherboard panel, and there's not much airflow in that area, so I'd hesitate to use a spinning platter hard drive. At this point, I only use nvme drives and a separate NAS for storing media, so that's no problem for me. 5 |

Installed well and runs easily. was hitting 91°C max on cinebench run which is totally fine for the CPU, but made my fans sound horrible. After undervolting -30 Pbo, it runs around 81° max, everything is smooth, and fans sound way better. Your mileage with Pbo is totally luck, so you're probably better off making sure you have quiet CPU cooler fans than expecting to undervolt. 5 |

Reverse fans are great for the cpu heatsink if using one like the cooler master SL20 watch at the pic provide here , i recommend this fan especially from LIAN LI 5 |

Having built in a Fractal Design case before, I was expecting the same kind of quality and functionality in the North. I wasn't disappointed. I changed out the provided front fans for 2 140mm RBG fans and installed an 240mm AIO at the top. The only caveat is that if you are going to install a top AIO then make sure the CPU power and CPU fan connections are made BEFORE securing the motherboard in place. Otherwise, there is no room to get into to make those connections. Very happy with the result except all of the little rubber pads coming off the feet because of the many trips to and from the assembly workbench. A little glue fixed that. 5 |

Great shipping time, package came fast. Great price for this CPU. I needed an upgrade because of the advancements to design programs like from Unreal Engine 4 to version 5 and also some other programs that I use as well. It does run hotter than the 2700x but it also handles more and a lot quicker too. It also doesn't get as hot as the 2700x during heavy scenes as well. So, its just hotter during normal workloads but not as hot during heavy workloads. I haven't experimented on this cpu with baking hair cards in blender yet but with the jump from the 2700x I am sure that it will shorten my times based on how fast it handles my other programs. I use the Noctua NH-D15S to cool the CPU. I grabbed an extra 140mm fan for the cooling tower and I get at least an extra 10C degrees cooler than just the single fan. I think the highest temp I hit in Unreal Engine 5 is about 68C. This is the same temp I hit with just a room that is AAA quality and also with a city loaded up as well. Temps stay relatively the same within a few degrees C between these scene size comparisons. Still haven't pushed my fans to 100 percent yet to keep it cool. About 70 percent is the max I have my fans pushed during heavy scenes. With the 2700x I was having to push my fans 100 percent and I was hitting 80C. I knew it was time for an upgrade because of that and this CPU(5900x) was just the right purchase. 5 |

I received the purchase promptly from B & H. In regards to the MSI MEG Core Liquid S360 cpu cooler, I used Noctua 12X25 PWM fans for the radiator instead of the supplied fans. It was easy to install, keeps the Intel i7 13700K cpu cool and is very quiet. Exactly what I wanted the MSI MEG Core Liquid S360 cpu cooler to do. The LED display is a attractive bonus. I am very pleased with the purchase and as always B & H is the best. 5 |

As usual, the be quiets packaging of this PC cooling fan truly compliments its high-end design features and manufacturing quality control standards. Note however, that once the taped seals of the cover's front panels were cut on both pairs of fans I had just purchased, my careful attempts to pull out the inserted locking tabs of their front panels to be very frustrating. And all of this care spent to keep their cartons intact, should I decide to re-sell these fans. And it's my guess that all my frustrations were due to the thick, high pound test construct of the carton's material, plus the bit oversized latching ears provided along the sides of these locking tabs. And as for noise levels, with 60 dBA being that for a nearby, average-sized, refrigerator, plus 30 dBA being that of a nearby whisperer, and once the noisier, fast run-ups are achieved, the subsequent steady state noise is definitely less than top-speed rated 31.2 dBA. And take note, have my fan pair installed as optional CPU Fan #2's in my second budget build gamer, featuring Fractal's Focus G mini-tower, with an AMD Ryzen 7 over-heating prone 5800-X CPU, being cooled by it-s installed be quiet Dark Rock Slim cooler, and driving an AMD Radeon RX6600 GPU, with a be quiet's Dark Power Pro 750 Watt for power. All installed on a ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus WIFI II motherboard. Plus, a must replacement of the Focus G's front fans with Fractal's GP-12 PWM fans. And this combo keeps the at above idle CPU temps at 47-50 degrees C, even with BIOS DPM activated, and its ASUS optimized settings red-icon activated. And these be quiet CPU Fan #2's are running at constant 1700-1800 rpm. And all total, maintaining my peace of mind for the extra costs of these PWM fans chosen to install. And have yet to do several runs of the on-line gaming performance evaluators. 5 |
