I wanted a backup camera and when this went on sale for under 500 dollars I picked one up...plus the 30mm and 42.5 mm lenses . This may not have the dynamic range of some higher end cameras but the still images are still really nice...if you shoot sports or action of any kind the auto focus is very quick...this is great to shoot skateboarders especially using the 4K photo...if you have this with the kit lens and are not happy I am guessing you got a bad copy of the kit lens because mine is insanely sharp 5 |

Found this on a $500 sale, and finally was time to replace my previous 10 year old MacBook Pro. What took 4.5 hours to export a 4k video timeline on my previous i7 intel chip, took 5 minutes on this guy, and only used 30% of the processor. Impressed. It is a definite investment, but calculate how long you're expecting it to last and divide monthly to get a comparable rate for different models. This method helped me land on this unit in specific side-by-side comparisons for features. Was able to find what I found most important and judge whether it was worth the extra ___$ per month. 5 |

This lens is fantastic and probably way to good for me! Luckily for me I got it on a flash sale on B&H for something like $500 cheaper than its normal price! It was purchased as a replacement for my Rokinon 14mm 2.8 and I have been beyond satisfied. Using it mostly for astrophotography, it has mad the task way easier with shorter exposures and way more light allowed. Was slightly worried about the problems I'd heard about with the autofocus, but I like many will say there are no problems with the AF on Nikon. 2 thumbs up from me! 5 |
