I recently discovered a workaround for the three HDMI inputs that quit working on my Vizio TV. They stopped working over a year ago. I saw a YouTube video that showed how to use the VGA input on the TV to make HD video available to me once again. Using this product, along with an HDMI switcher I already owned, a short VGA cable, and a short stereo 1/8 audio cable HD video is once again available to me. The DVR and Blu-ray player plug in to switcher. The converter plugs into the output of the switcher. The short VGA goes between the converter and the TV. The short audio cable connects to the converter and the TV. Simple as that and it worked on the first try. 5 |
