Laptop Upgraded My 2Tb Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from a micron 512gb to a 2tb Samsung and the speed difference is very notable. PC boots in 15 seconds and load times are super fast.

I had two 500 GB Samsung SSDs mirrored and ran out of room. Upgraded to two of the new 2TB SSDs. They are faster!!! I am very happy :)

I am using it with a Samsung 980 PRO 2TB inside and so far no problems. I have not tested its speed yet. I bought it because I did not want, and don't want yet, to install the M.2 SSD inside my laptop - which has room for a 2nd SSD, since the laptop is brand new.

I bought my first Samsung Pro SSD around eight years ago, I think it was a 256GB. Then another for my other laptop. Then a 1TB and now a 2TB. Obviously very happy with all, I just keep needing more storage space and fortunately, Samsung keeps making larger SSDs.

I had a WD 1TB My Passport for Mac that I filled up, so upgraded to the 2TB. No regrets!

My Lorex NVR came with a 2TB WD installed, have upgraded all 4 to 8TB using these Western Digital drives. Very happy with them.

My laptop came with 8gb of ram. I upgraded to 16 and it is much faster.

I purchase the WD 2TB My Passport Ultra Metal Edition to transfer my files from my old laptop to my new laptop; and, am now using it for backup. It works effortlessly and fast. I was able to select the files I wanted to transfer; and, transfer the files I didn't need. Using it as a backup, I am able to leave it plugged into a USB port; and, it backs up everything, automatically. I highly recommend this device.

I keep the WD My Passport Essential 2TB Portable HD connected to my laptop. I store all of my music, movies, pictures and Windows weekly backups on the portable hard drive. This allows me to keep a lot of free space on my laptop HDD. Because of its portability, it is a simple process to take it with me should I wish to have material downloaded from another computer or if I wish to share any files that I have stored on it. I believe this portable hard drive is a truly outstanding product and well woth the cost of purchase.

I bought this WD 2TB My Passport drive because I had already bought a 1 TB for my laptop and really liked it's size and usability. The 1 TB I bought while in Florida to back up (clone) the SSD. It fits easily in my laptop carry bag. When I got home, I really needed one for my desktop SSD as I had been using a full-sized WD HD & always had to attach a clumsy connector device. This one is SO MUCH EASIER! Plug it in and run my cloning software. BTW, I have ALWAYS used WD drives because I had a failure with another MAJOR brand and I couldn't get satisfaction for their service department. I have 4 always connected to my desktop for photo backups, and a couple of loose, bare drives.
