Laptop Vga Card

Used the cable to extend a VGA Laptop signal to a theater projector. I was worried about lossing too much signal over this length of cable, but it worked fine.

Having had to upgrade to a new Win 10 Laptop I was disappointed to find that there was no VGA port to allow doing presentations. This converter is the answer to the problem by providing a VGA connection through the HDMI port on the Laptop. I tried using a USB to VGA converter and it did not work.

This item was purchased to allow an older VGA video projector with the 15 pin VGA connector to be used with a new laptop with an HDMI output. All connectors fit perfectly and the image quality was outstanding. Thank you.

When I purchased my new laptop I did not realize that it would not work with the VGA cable monitor (had to be HDMI). I spoke with HP customer service and found an awesome monitor and this cable at a great price - Thanks HP!!!!

I bought this usb c to Vga adapter . It worked. Just wonder if I can connect a laptop with only usb A port with a usb a to usb c converter then this usbc to vga , then to a monitor?

I have a laptop with just VGA and HDMI. I have two external monitors, one has DVI and DisplayPort, but no HDMI (it's a 1200 res unit), and my other unit has HDMI and displayport but no DVI. Basically didn't have a way to light them both up (can't use the vga and the HDMI from the laptop at the same time (aarrgghh). So, saw this and PRESTO - two monitors both running at 1200 res, it even (by pure fluke I guess) set itself up as my right hand monitor - exactly what I needed. It's brilliant.
