Laptop With Cd Drive And Touchscreen

I purchased some software from a company that still ships software on a CD. Since my laptop doesn't have a CD drive, I don't think any laptops do nowadays, I needed a drive to be able to install the software. This one worked really well. It's slim and nice looking. The price was right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the external LG CD/DVD drive because my new laptop doesn't have a drive. I have decent music CD collection and the LG device has allowed me to listen to and copy, my music onto my laptop. It's fast and plays everything well. It's also streamlined and easy to keep on my desk without taking up too much space or getting in the way.

I upgraded my 27 inch iMac with a Fusion drive so out came the CD. I got the super drive to replace it. Something to keep in mind.. it has to be directly plugged into a USB from the computer. A powered hub doesn't do it. Once you do that, I works wonderfully with cd's, dvd's, and recordable CD's/DVD's. Actually, it works better than the cd that came with my iMac.

Using a windows 8 laptop that is not touchscreen can be frustrating at times. Adding this really handy gadget totally changed my Windows 8 experience and now my laptop is really fun to use!! I definitely recommend this product it was pretty easy to set up and works really nicely.

I purchased this monitor on the deal zone. I use it with a laptop. It's very well constructed and just the right size for me. The display screen is very good. It does not have a touchscreen, however excellent monitor for those of us who are not needing a touchscreen. I would highly recommend this monitor.

I think I've purchased about 3 of these - for home computer, work computer, laptop, and recommended to a friend or two. For me, it's better than a mouse because: 1) you don't move your wrist around, you move your fingers instead. So for me, no wrist stress no repetitive motion problems. Can't say that it avoids carpel tunnel, but I think if you keep your wrist straight it can. 2) Less desk space required, and no bumping into other things on the desk. 3) More precise for things like cad. The movements are independent of the button pushing, so it's easy to be precise. I've used this on Linux and various versions of Windows, all work great. The best combination? A laptop that has a touchscreen. They you can pick between the touchscreen with a stylus for drawing, and this for other work.

Fit well and allows full use of the touchscreen.

Solves the problem of new computer not having a CD/DVD drive, at a reasonable price.
