Laptop With Disk Player

I use this drive to create a disk image of my c: drive on my laptop. Easy to use.

After dealing with a failing multi-disk player, its great to have a well priced single disk player.

I had some trepidation about the cost of this UHD player. Prior experience with Panasonic products swayed my decision. I am more than satisfied. The unit is solidly constructed. Operation is exceptionally smooth and quiet. The simple act of placing a disk in the tray conveys the attention to detail that went into the design. Response time from disk insertion to being ready to play is quick enough given the metadata that must be read and processed. Having a separate HDMI channel for audio processing gives superb audio to accompany the equally superb video rendition on a 4K OLED television.

To connect smart tv and blueray disk player to my home network. Did I mention? Works as advertised - out of the box! Haven't discovered any not so great features yet.

Used to connect a streaming stick and disk player to an older TV with only one HDMI port, easy switching between the two inputs with push of the button. Works perfectly!

I use this amp to power my telephone music from my 200 disk player. It allows me to hook up the system and monitor the out put.

I've been working on a MacBook for a while with no DVD player of course. Had need to get some media from a disk and instead of calling friends and borrowing drives I bought this at a very reasonable price. What I later discovered is that techies still rely on DVDs for backing up files. Its somewhat past and future proofing.

Very good player for the money, one thing is you don't want to move it or bump it as a disk is playing or it will stop and you have to re-start the movie.

Cleaned up multiple EDID problems between an UHD disk player and a 4K Sony projector.  The Atlona help line was fantastic.  The technician could be reached instantly, was extremely knowledgeable and very gracious.  This is a great product from a company offering world class technical guidance.

If you still use, have or buy DVD's and your old player has gone poof then this is a very good player especially when on sale. It plays UHD and converts non UHD to best picture quality format. For sound quality it is ATMOS and works perfectly. I have compare Dune 2 from streaming to the UHD disk and the disk outperformed the stream and sound.
