Laptop With Micro Usb Charger

Neat with a micro usb charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad I chose this micro USB charger from Belkin. The length of the charger is perfect for my needs, not too long or too short. The best part is that it charges extremely fast which is a big plus when charging my devices. This is a great product from Belkin!

It acts as a charger, plugs in with a standard micro USB cable like many cell phones and the camera itself. (I shoot with RX100, HX90V, and at times, RX1.) It also acts as a case for the battery. It's so small. It's barely larger than the battery it contains. This makes it so perfect for travel. With just a single cable and adapter I can charger all my electronics. I bring a few of these and charge what is needed very conveniently with minimal added bulk. I love this design.

I love this charger. It is thin, small and easily pocketable. It is just a battery box with a micro usb port on it. But I must say that this is one of the cutest chargers in my collection of possibly more than a hundred chargers for various electronics. The charger securely holds the battery and charges it either from Sony's camera plugin (not supplied) or a computer via a micro usb cable (not supplied). I do wish it came with an extra shorter (than the one supplied with the camera) micro usb cable. A plus for the charger is that it can keep the battery in it until the battery is required for use. I was planning to buy a second battery for my RX100, but I think this option is more cost effective.

I use the Pearstone USB-C Male to USB Micro-B Male cable with my laptop to run my media server. I replaced an older cable that didn't have the micro 3.2 tech in it and the speed difference is noticeable. Previously with the old cable I would occasionally get stutters in the video when I played back 4k content but once I swapped out cables with this one I played back the same content without issue. This is a great little hub. I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for more plugablility. This solves that problem and then some by adding a lot of convenience and functionality. I love that it gives me some more USB ports, since I'm constantly needing them from a variety of peripherals. Having the SD card and micro SD slots is very helpful too. I have an SD card slot on my desktop, but its a pain to get to, so this makes it easier to use them. And my desktop cpu doesn't have a micro slot so this adds that capability without the need for a micro to standard SD card adapter. My laptop has neither SD card slots, so this is a necessity. The ability to charge a phone or something else with the powered USB-C port is also a nice feature that I see myself using often. And having the HDMI connectivity is a huge bonus, it's been very cool and added a whole new level of connectivity for me, especially with my laptop. The more connectivity you have with one piece of gear the better, and means less things you need to squeeze into your laptop bag or on your desk. And this little guy does the trick. I recently purchased a laptop with2 USB-A port and one USB-C port. My external hard drive has a USB Micro-USB 3.2 port so this cable allows me to attach my drive to the laptop at the USB-C port Otherwise, I would need to use both USB-A ports and be SOL for attaching my mouse dongle.

I used to have a usb hub, the laptop charger and a monitor. The new monitor with a single usb-c cable both charges my mac and allows for the monitor connection. The usb hub is there in case i need to connect a usb key or something extra. If it also had a camera and mike built in it would be amazing (i got the camera separately). I'm very happy with it.
