Laptops For Picture Editing

I have had several Mac laptops so, no surprise, I love this one! Small, but very capable, it handles my photo editing (in spite of smaller screen), music programs, writing, etc. And does it all well. I got this with 2TB of memory as I needed more memory than my previous 1TB. 5 |

easy to use, more time on taking pictures, less time on picture editing 5 |

I always get the plan for my laptops. Of course you just never know. 5 |

I’m mostly shooting 4K HDR and then editing to a 4K SDR output and I wanted the best production monitor picture quality for under $1,000 in a mid-sized monitor for set. The Megamon being 1080p 10-bit HDR seemed close to my requirements but honestly the picture quality, accuracy, and depth of color is so good that I really don’t miss the 4K resolution from 3-5 feet away (certainly not enough to pay 8x more than I did). The mounting options, case and hood are all great and it looks killer I’m my setup. I’m excited to get out and get shooting. 5 |

This is a great monitor. It's perfect for everything from photo editing, video editing, or just every day use. The picture is bright, crisp, and clear, without any distortion or fuzziness. You won't go wrong, purchasing the Dell U2723QE. 5 |

Had it for a few months now. Excellent picture for games and editing video. Wish I didn't have to hold the power button so long to turn it off, but no issues other than that! 5 |

Fantastic monitor for editing in final cut pro, clear and crisp picture. Also the curved screen easier on the eyes. Price is great also. 5 |

For years I've worked with photo and video, using two 27 monitors side by side, with 2 separate screen set up on the computer. Frustrated by the massive bezel gap in between them I was keen to try this monitor out. That keeness has transformed into absolute delight and I'll be an ultrawide 32:9 evangelist for life! This monitor is astonishing, super sharp, great at 120Hz (flicker free and easy on the eyes). Picture quality and colour accuracy was amazing, and I'm sure it's an epic gaming monitor but it's the sheer joy of the working experience while editing video that has me absolutely hooked. Having an editing timeline that stretches 2/3 of the width of my screen, having tabs and windows open just as I need them, the 3 window wide split screen for apps all superb. The picture in picture mode is also amazing as I can plug in my macbook pro into one input and my PC into the other and have both on screen at the same time. The ultimate in productivity! Honestly I could go on and on. I don't think I'll ever go back to a boring 16:9 monitor again. As I said in the title, if you are a photographer or filmmaker... then what are you waiting for? Buy this monitor, you will NOT regret it. 5 |

Very sharp corner to corner, no distortion and very contrasty. Taking RAW pictures of the sunrise (tried to upload it) they look like they have already been edited. When I edit them in Lightroom I just lightly touch them. With other lenses I feel that I have to do a lot more editing to make them look good, with this lens if I do a lot of editing it makes the picture look over edited. I pretty much skip the lens correction unless I want to get rid of the vignette, which often times I keep it in the picture. I love the Sigma Art series lenses, I have 3 of them (50mm, 20mm) and I plan on buying the 14 or 16, 105 and maybe the 135 and 85. 5 |
